Facts about GIS Electric Chain Hoist
- The electric chain hoists from GIS are produced for industrial use in order to achieve the highest possible level of safety and efficiency. GIS electric chain hoists are made with a cast aluminium housing, which makes the hoists extremely durable, robust and reliable. To ensure sufficient cooling of the GIS electric chain hoist under difficult operating conditions, the aluminum housing is provided with cast cooling fins. The braking system of these electric chain hoists is also designed to operate independently of the skid clutch.
- The teeth on the electric chain hoist's gears are made with oblique toothing. This leads to a reduction in noise levels and thus provides a better working environment.
- The lifting chain of the GIS electric chain hoist is surface treated and hardened.
